Need to think deeply!!

How many of you are aware of atleast one person----among your family, friends, relatives or known one,who has died or have been the victim of a road traffic accident?

How many of you believe what happened to them could have happened to you as well?

I guess you all agree that you too could have died in a road traffic accident.however luckily, all of you survived.

Now,just because all of us here have been lucky so far, does that mean we all will continue to be lucky in the future as well?

Four times the number of people die everyday in this country in road accidents than in an entire year due to terrorism.Just imagine, everyday!four times more than annual terrorism deaths.

"Around 1.7 lakhs people die in road accidents every year in our country."

A disease that would have taken these many lives in a year would have been pronounced an epidemic like Covid in that very year. All hands would have come together to save humanity from such a fatal disease.

On an average, the daily news channels report atleast half a dozen road accidents in the state.while reading them, did it ever occur to you that you too could have been in that news and somebody else's reading about you?

My dear friends,my idea is not to scare you,but share with you a possibility which we often choose to neglect.the truth is----the victims about whom you watch in news channels too would have felt the same way, till it happened to them and a good number of them are no longer here to take action.

Nobody prepares and leaves home with an idea to meet with an accident.

I have seen many men, therefore, prefer to wear helmet on their left elbow.why else would they protect their left elbows with such great care?

So protect your head(brain), because a body without a brain doesn't need helmet.hairstyles looks, comfort....these are the reasons why many of you don't prefer to wear helmet.isn't it?

Why not choose an easier option, one, which more importantly saves your life? Not only that,it will save you from heat and dust as well.

Don't just wear a helmet to save a traffic challan, wear it to save your life.

I have seen some youths favourite quotes on internet like, "I DON'T LIKE PEOPLE DRIVING FAST THAT'S THE REASON I OVERTAKE THEM."

"I DON'T DRIVE FAST.I FLY LOW"

I understand very well that you are all very skilful in driving superfast, but tell me one thing---how are you so sure about the other person's skills?

How do you trust that when you are driving at 100 km an hour, another person,or a kid,a dog,or for that matter a deep dig, won't suddenly appear in your way and change your life forever?

Instead of driving fast and jumping red light to reach on time, not being lazy in bed and starting early is a definite solution. After getting drunk the ability to drive isn't a thing of a pride or show off,but shame.

There's nothing cool about it.there's nothing cool about being vulnerable enough to take a couple of lives on the road.Enjoy your drink, but not at the cost to running somebody else's happiness.Be responsible.

Do you know, people of which profession break the traffic laws the most?

In our country, one who is incharge of implementing the law often land up violating it simply because nobody is assigned to keep a check on them.

In the name of duty they drive their vehicles on the wrong side, needlessly break the traffic signals at their will and don't care about wearing helmet or anything.

The cops don't follow rules but expect others to do so.Stop offering bribes, even better stop breaking traffic rules in the first place.

Why even pay the little bribe that you can spend on yourself?

We tend to do what's easy and not what's right.we love our comfort the most and look for easy ways out.

We are too lazy to get up early, too slow to finish our morning chores, but too fast on the road to reach our destination on time.willing to take risks on the road, while not changing our habbits at home.

"Because it suits us."

You will be safe only if you look after your safety.A vehicle is made to be means of transport for people, but it also becomes a weapon when it is in the hands of a reckless driver.

An over speeding car or truck,a drunk or a distracted driver on the road have changed a many lives, forever.

We get to learn our lessons the hardway.by that time it is too late.

'Every four minutes in our country,a dream is killed,a love story breathes its last breath,a promising future is shattered forever, all this,on our roads.

A death or a permanent disability in a road traffic accident does not affect only the victims, but it also affects everyone around them and that you know you are reason behind it makes you live the rest of your life in guilt.
